Both starts started the game brightly however were unable to create any clear cut chances thanks to some solid defending from both teams.

Towards the end of the half Bar went close several times however we unable to convert and went into half time at 0-0.

Potters Bar continued to pressure the Blueharts defence and the pressure eventually paid off when Katy Francis bundled a shot over the line (1-0).

Shortly after Bar scored again when Emily Gerke pounced on a loose ball in the D, hitting a reverse shot into the Blueharts goal (2-0).

Caroline Stanners (Pickersgill) secured the 3 points for Bar with a shot from the left handside of the D (3-0).

Next week the ladies face newly promoted Broxbourne (away) at Broxbourne Sports Club.
