The side was bolstered by Shag showing up with Scott Alexander, giving the 4s a much appreciated goal threat. Bar struck first via Alexander and had a lot of pressure in the first half, although they failed to put away a second and went into half time at 1-1.

Harpenden upped the tempo in the second half and managed to go ahead twice, forcing Bar to respond both times, Iain Marin turning in both at the back post. A frantic final 10 minutes saw both sides pushing hard for a victory, with Bar managing to convert a short corner via Scott Alexander in the last minute of the game. What a way to get our first victory! More wins to come I'm sure.
