Tring 4th XI v Potters Bar 3rd XI

Potters Bar Ladies 3's travelled to Tring for a mid table clash. Having been the only team to beat Tring this season Potters Bar felt this was going to be a very tough game indeed.
Still missing a key defender in their team Potters Bar lined up with a good team neather the less but unfortunatly lack of concentration straight from the push back allowed Tring straight through and to score their 1st of 7 goals in a time clocked at 8 seconds by the umpire.
4 minutes later and Potters Bar were 2 down.
Finally Potters Bar settled down and made some good solid tackles and passes and ourselves had 2 short corners in quick succession but unfortunatly couldnt find the back of the goal. Tring continued to push and scored twice more before half time making it 4-0 and leaving Potters Bar a big hill to climb in the second half.
The second half started in the same way for Potters Bar as we conceded an early goal. Lots of defending by the whole team, but more so by Katy Francis and heroic goalkeeping by Jenni Harrington kept Tring at bay for a long period in the second half but an injury to Vicky Watts at centre back left our defence struggling again and Tring put another 2 into the goal making the final score a disappointing 7-0 to Tring.
