Our Shiny New Website

Welcome to the new Potters Bar Hockey Club website!
The redesign of the Potters Bar HC website was first proposed back in October of last year, but it wasn't until the first meeting in April that the proposal started to become tangible and ideas were thrown on the table. It may have been foolhardy of me to put myself forward so confidently, and before I'd even played my first game for the club, but now having a completed product I can say that we have successfully fulfilled everything discussed during our initial meeting, and at last have a website to be proud of.
The core aim was to bring both the ladies' and mens' teams back together under one roof whilst employing consistency in terms of structure and content. The site needed to be usable and most importantly information easy to find; a regular complaint with the old sites.
Thanks go to Ed Newbery, Caroline Partridge and Owen Hughes for assisting me in this throughout the redevelopment process
Future Additions
Our work is never done. We have an absolute stack of old news items, match reports, photos and more which will eventually be pulled out from the old sites and added to pottersbarhc.co.uk V2. For starters we'll have an Archive section for old Match Reports and a swanky Photo Gallery to showcase all Potters Bar HC related pictures from matches, social events, tours and more. We might even have our own Video section if we have enough content but let's see - we'd like to play some hockey too this season ;-)
Anyway I hope you like the new and improved pottersbarhc.co.uk and find it to be a useful resource for all things Bar.
