The first two goals were scored by David Fennell, coming in off his wing to guide the ball past the keeper for both goals. The second; a particularly nice passing move down the left wing with Chris Edwards, Toby Seaman and Spence Randon involved pulled the Adelaide defence out of position for Danny Becker to receive the ball on the top of the D and playing Fennell in for his second.
Bar went into half time 2 up and totally in control.
At the beginning of the second half Adelaide managed to gain control of the midfield for spells as Bar lost their shape and their concentration. The result however was put beyond doubt by a fine clean strike by Spencer Randon from a Danny Becker injected short corner.
The fourth, a breakaway move was finished confidently by Adam Pigden.
A player notable of commendation was Roy Hill, coming from right back and bringing the ball much the length of the pitch on a number of occasions.
